Each small goal is the key to stop global warming.
January. Reduce meat consumption 🥩
Livestock is responsible for water pollution, erosion of the land and one of the biggest impacts on climate change.
February. Refill reusable bottle 💦
By using a reusable bottle the oil consumption is decreasing which is used to produce plastic bottles, no greenhouse gasses emitted, and bottles thrown away.
March. Use reusable bags and containers 🧺
Each year, an estimated 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide. That comes out to over one million per minute. Billions end up as litter each year. Refuse from single-use bags and containers.
April. Switch to shampoo & conditioner & shower gel in bar 🧼
One shampoo bar is equivalent to two 250 ml bottles of liquid shampoo. Each bottle produces carbon emissions. Fossil fuels are used to produce a plastic bottle.
May. Use reusable packaging in the takeaway 🥣
A new study estimates there are 16.3 million tonnes of takeaway containers per year being used in the European Union (EU) alone.
June. Segregate your waste 🗑
Keep different containers for green kitchen waste, plastic, paper, and glass.
July. Switch to reusable razor 🧔🦵
Reduce plastic waste. Reduce carbon footprint. Save money.
August. Reduce consumerism 🛒
Do not buy anything new besides the food for one month. Segregate the clothes and things that you already have. Decide what you need and what you do not need. Give a gift, sell, donate, recycle things you do not need. Ask yourself every time you think about a new thing if you need it. Consume consciously.
September. Save water 🚰
Wash dishes in the washing machine or make a sink basin. Always close the running water whenever you are. Close tap while you are brushing your teeth, have a shower, wash the hair.
October. Reduce product consumption wrapped in plastic 🍬
Buy food in bulk in zero waste shop in your city. If you don’t have such – buy food in big quantities. Try to refuse some of the products or buy less often.
November. Stop food-wasting – buy as much food as you need 🍞
Make a shopping list and buy food in bulk and on the market. Do not throw away food, think about how you can preserve it, make another dish. Be creative!
December. Share your knowledge with friends, family and with colleagues 🗣
Be an active citizen. Participate and organize actions in the place you are now. Share the information and inspire others! Don’t be judgemental and too harsh. Find a ⭐️ GOLD ⭐️ balance.
